Borrowing Rules of Materials
  • Number of books users can borrow Undergraduate: 7 / Graduate:15 / Faculty: 50
  • Duration Japanese books: 2 weeks / Foreign books: 1 month / Bounded Journals: 3 days / Unbounded Journals: 1day
  • Renew Up to 1 time (Books can only be renewed if they are returned before the due date.)
  • Late Penalties 10 yen per day per book.
When you borrow a book, your student ID card or campus card is required.

The following books are not allowed to be borrowed.
  • Reference Books (Dictionaries, maps, etc.)
  • Current titles of Newspapers and Journals, Audio-visual Materials (CD, DVD, Video, etc.)

Searching for Books and Reserving Books
  • Searching : KOSMOS OPAC (Keio University Libraries Catalog)
                
  • Reservation : Books at other media centers can be ordered.
                Some materials cannot be ordered, please inquire at the information desk.
                Books located at the SFC Media Center cannot be ordered.
NMC Library Regulations
  • When you enter the NMC Library, please carry your student ID card (campus card) with you.
  • Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited in the Library.
  • If you wish to take library materials out of the library, please check them out at the counter
  • Please refrain from behavior that inconveniences others such as talking on mobile phones.
  • Please keep valuables and personal items in a safe place.
  • Users can bring their own laptop computers into the NMC Library.
  • If you wish to connect your computer to the CNS by wireless LAN, a dedicated wireless LAN card is necessary.
    The SFC Media Center loans out computers and equipment such as LAN cards.
Other
  • If the NMC Library needs to contact users, users will be contacted by e-mail.
  • Students and Faculty of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care can use other Keio Media Centers with their student ID card or campus card.
  • The exit gate is installed as an anti-theft device.
    This device may affect medical equipment. Please do not stand near the exit gate for long periods of time.
    If you do not wish to go through the exit gate, please ask the library staff.
●External Users

 Borrowing of NMC Materials

External users can use the NMC library if their library does not have materials they are looking for.
  • Students and Faculty members of other universities
    Please bring an introduction letter issued by your university and your ID card (student ID card).
  • People who do not belong to the university (includes alumni of Keio University / Fujisawa citizens)
    Please inquire at the contact address above.

Library tours and inspection

  • Library Inspection
